New appointment – Bosch Capital MD

We are pleased to welcome on board Chris Baloyi, who has been appointed to the position of Bosch Capital MD.

Chris has 20 years of work experience in the financial services industry, most of which was spent in investment banking and development finance. His depth of experience covers mergers and acquisitions and project infrastructure finance across various sectors in South Africa and Africa. In addition to work done in the private sector, Chris has also worked with public sector clients in South Africa (e.g. utilities, municipalities and State Departments, including National Treasury, Department of Water and Sanitation, Department of Energy and provincial departments), as well as various governmental ministries in Africa – as such he has a balanced view of project development and financing.

He is a Chartered Accountant by profession and is also a Master of Commerce in Financial Management. Chris has a proven track record of consistent performance and leading people. He has a passion for the development of Africa and its people and is involved in local volunteer activities for the empowerment of underprivileged children and communities.

We are confident that he will not only provide valuable leadership of Bosch Capital, but also contribute to business development aspects of the other Bosch Holdings operating companies.
