The Young Engineer of the Year mentoring programme, which was introduced by Bosch Holdings in 2013, includes the enrolment to the international FIDIC Young Professionals Management Training Programme (YPMTP). This programme further involves participation in the CESA Young Engineer of the Year Award. Casper Prinsloo of Bosch Stemele, being the 2015 Bosch Young Engineer, attended both events.
The YPMTP consists of an 8 month online learning programme with up to 60 students, from various countries around the world, conducting industry related case studies into ethics, business development, human resources and financial management to name a few. The training programme provides the young professional with a global perspective of engineering. That year, the programme culminated at the annual FIDIC World Consulting Conference, which was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Bosch Holdings’ Young Engineer of the Year Programme is a hugely beneficial opportunity to any young professional to broaden their understanding of the Global Engineering Industry.
