Bosch Munitech has commenced work on its recent eThekwini Water and Sanitation (EWS) appointment for the mechanical and electrical servicing, ad hoc repair and refurbishment of water pump stations, water treatment works and miscellaneous plants. The 36 month appointment commenced in September 2015 and encompasses 135 water pump stations.
Bosch Munitech’s role is to conduct scheduled mechanical and electrical maintenance, respond to breakdown maintenance, to respond to emergencies and to assist with the management of the PLCs controlling the pump stations. This work requires the utmost professionalism, attention to detail, responsiveness and a close working relationship with eThekwini’s operations function to ensure that water services to eThekwini’s communities are not interrupted.
The appointment, in conjunction with the existing appointment for the mechanical and electrical maintenance of wastewater pump stations and treatment works, reinforces Bosch Munitech’s position as the pre-eminent service provider of mechanical and electrical maintenance services for EWS.
