New reservoir for the North Coast

Taffeni Reservoir is a new 2.5Ml reinforced concrete reservoir cell which is expected to be commissioned at the end of 2020. This is the second phase augmentation of the Taffeni Reservoir (total 5Ml storage) where potable water will be able to supply the new Elaleni and Zululami Developments. The existing reservoir currently serves the Sheffield area and Brettenwood Development.

Bosch Projects was originally involved in the design and successful project implementation of the first 2.5Ml Taffeni Reservoir cell, high-level booster and its associated supply bulk supply pipelines back in 2009.

The new project includes large (355mm and 450mm diameter) HDPe bulk supply pipelines and a new high-level booster pumpstation building, which contains new mechanical and electrical equipment. It is projected that the project will be within budget.
