Project Description:

The irrigation and infrastructure component of the Dombe ethanol project is being undertaken by Bosch Projects.

The scope of the project includes:
  • Civils Infrastructure for a 440 TCH factory;
  • Agriculture and irrigation development (14000 Ha Irrigation scheme), including roads, drainage and power infrastructure;
  • Associated infrastructure, including housing, roads, electrical reticulation, water and wastewater treatment facilities and solid waste disposal facility;
  • Agricultural buildings, including offices, training centres, clinic, stores and workshops;
  • Vinasse disposal system.

It is forecast that approximately 1.7 million tons of sugar cane will be converted annually into 44 million gallons of fuel ethanol.
