Scope of Services Provided:

• EPC/Turnkey design, supply and build of a 300TCH diffuser and related infrastructure.

Project Description:

As part of a larger plant improvement project Bosch Projects successfully tendered for, and was awarded the contract for the design, supply, and building of a 300TCH diffuser and related infrastructure.

Bosch Projects supplies the unique Chainless Diffuser, which is a technology invented by Bosch Projects and patented worldwide. After seven successful installations in Brazil and two in India, this was the first of this type of cane diffuser to be installed in Africa,

The project started in December 2010, and was Bosch Projects’ first major design project to be carried out using 3D design techniques and involved over 74 suppliers and sub-contractors. Under the management of Bosch Projects the diffuser construction was completed in 2012 almost one month before the project deadline.

• The project entailed the drawing up and issuing of 74 contracts and purchase orders and the processing of 353 individual invoices
